The Porch Sting

You walk up to your front door after a long day, carrying an awkwardly balanced armful of groceries. The bag is digging into your wrist, and you're just looking forward to dropping it all on the counter and kicking off your shoes. You fumble for your keys in your pocket. That's when you hear it.
